CIRCLE HOOK

The Circle Hook (previously named the Captain Hook) is a 43 ft. Willis made famous by Captain Ron Hamlin. The boat is powered by twin Cummins diesels, and was built in North Carolina by master boat builders. Their wooden hulls produce a low rumbling sound notorious for raising billfish. The Circle Hook's ability to raise fish is proven by the many records it has set for numbers of fish caught in one day and one year.

ALLURE

The Allure is a 2001 39ft Bertram Convertible, powered by twin 480HP Volvos and coupled with ZF gears, she has a cruise speed of 25 knots. The boat is in immaculate condition and will provide any angler with a great fishing platform. With the added luxury of a air conditioning, a large salon, 2 state rooms, a new sound system and VCR/TV, it will make those long runs (when needed), that much more enjoyable. The boat is fully equipped with top of the line tackle, a marlin tower and a modern electronics package and is truly one of the top boats in Guatemala.

 

CAPTAIN HOOK

The Captain Hook is a new 2007 - 40 foot Cabo Flybridge, captained by the world famous Captain Ron Hamlin. Captain Hamlin, recently set the new single season record for most billfish releases, releasing 2,809 in 180 fishing days over the one year period from November 1, 2005 to October 31, 2006. He also holds the record for the most releases in one day at 124, set in March 2006 in Guatemala. Most recently, Ron was awarded Overall Captain of the Year by the IGFA and was honored at the 2007 Miami Boat Show.

 

HOOKED UP

FISHY BUSINESS

The Fishy Business is a 2003, 36 foot, Jersey Cape custom sportfisherman, equipped with 2006 Cat C-7, 460 hp engines. The Fishy Business is a proven fish raising machine! This boat has caught all species of billfish in the Atlantic including, Blue Marlin, White Marlin, Sailfish, Spearfish and Swordfish and is now coming to Guatemala where it will surely be a major contender. The Fishy Business is maintained in mint condition and like all Pacific Fins boats, is equipped with top of the line big game tackle. This beautiful boat is captained by Cristobal de Jesus Mora Falla. Captain Cristobal or as he's better known as Captain Tito, has been in Guatemala since 1994. He came here from Costa Rica as the mate on the Magic for Capt John LaGrone. He was the solo mate when the Magic set the one year record for the most Billfish in a single season.

He continued mating until 2005 when he took over as Captain of the Maverick. Now in 2007, he's taken over the helm of the Fishy Business which is operating under the Pacific Fin's Resort management.

 

FULL CIRCLE

The Full Circle is a 1974 Classic 31 Bertram. The boat was refit in 2002 with twin 375 HP Cat's and is capable of speeds in excess of 30 knots. During the summer of 2007 the boat is being totally updated from a maintenance and cosmetic standpoint and will enter the 2007 - 2008 season as the nicest boat in the marina in its class. The Full Circle is equipped with first class tackle and Gerry and his mates are experienced at both bait fishing and fly fishing. The atmosphere on the boat is fun and will no doubt produce many great memories.
