Los Sueños is an American style resort, complete with golf course, Marriott Hotel, restaurants & marina, located about four miles from Jaco Beach. It is about an hour and a half by road from San Jose. Accommodations in Jaco Beach are more Costa Rican than those at Los Sueños as well as less expensive, although there are now a couple of multi story hotels on the beach there. This is just a sample of the accommodations available in the area. |

Los Suenos has the only large marina in Costa Rica and the largest fleet of boats. Many of those boats are privately owned non-charter boats, but there are wide variety available for charters. Included in the price of a charter are all bait, tackle, lunch & drinks. A fishing license ($24, good for a year) is available at the marina. These are only a few of the boats available. |

Tropical Fishing Adventures can arrange as much or as little of your trip that you want, including the transportation from the states and between San Jose and Los Suenos, or any other part of Costa Rica. There is no airport near Los Suenos, so the only option is by road, either by a private van service at around $165 each way (2 hours), or you can always rent a car and drive yourself. You will hear many complaints about Costa Rican roads, but with the exception of a twenty mile stretch of winding road over a mountain it is really not that bad.
