Upon arriving at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, you will need to pass though immigration. You must have a passport, and be sure to purchase a tourist card ($5.00). Once you claim your luggage and pass though customs, proceed through the waiting crowd and look for the green sign that says "Starlight". Simply provide your name, and the Starlight Travel shuttle will pick you up and transport you to your hotel. This is all really quite easy, but when in doubt, just ask questions and follow the crowd.

DAY ONE
Wake early and take the 15-minute ride, either by taxi or prior arrangement with the Starlight shuttle, from your hotel to the Marcos A. Gelabert Airport. There you'll catch your one-hour flight from Panama City to David. The cost for the flight is around $185 round trip and to confirm your reservation, the airline requires this ticket be prepaid with your credit card. In David you will be greeted by a captain from Pesca Panama, who will take you on a short 5-minute ride from the airport to your awaiting fishing boat. From here it is a picturesque 1-1/2 to 2 hour boat ride down the river and to the prime fishing grounds. Following a great day of fishing, you will arrive at dusk at the barge for drinks, dinner and a great night's sleep.

DAY TWO, THREE, FOUR & FIVE
Spend the next four days fishing inshore and offshore for the species of your choice, returning each night to the barge, which will be anchored near the fishing grounds.

DAY SIX
Depart early from the barge and fish your way back to David. Arrival at the marina will be in time to catch the evening flight back to Panama City, where you will again be spending the night at your hotel.

DAY SEVEN
Take a taxi from your hotel to Tocumen International Airport to catch your departure flight home.

This schedule works best for most of our fishing guests, and requires the least amount of travel time. If you have extra time, you might arrange for your arrival in Panama a day or two before your charter, or extend your stay at the end of your charter, either of which can allow for sightseeing in and around Panama City.
